Well bless you! Drum isn't like that either....my husband bought a new truck (if one can consider a 93 bronco new...) last summer and it still doesn't have decals!
Kacy, you poor girl... I am sorry this is such a hard time for you right now. I hope and pray that things look up soon and you begin to enjoy your new home in GA.
Aw Kacy I'm so sorry you are having a rough time. I hope things look up and you get to go to the doctor soon. Anytime you need to vent you have my number. Even though this was a bad day for you it was still nice to see you lovely face. If you head to TN anytime soon and have some free time we should try and make some plans.
Oh, Kacy! What a terrible, no good day. The army often makes me want to pull my hair out, but I can't imagine being so close to hearing your baby's heartbeat and then not getting there. :-( You can call me whenever, if you need someone to talk to! PS: I loved the frantic, heavy breathing (drifter?) at the end!
Aww girl I'm sorry I hope your day got slightly better. I can only imagine how you feel, So close yet so far away. Call me if you need to talk! If I had decals on my car I would drive down there to take you in a heart beat. This may be a long shot but have you seen if there is a wives group on facebook. If they do it would be an easy way to meet other wives in our technology driven generation.
On other hopefully happier thoughts I think that we need to bring back (Mil)ling It Over but with a Linky to make it easier on everyone. You game?
@hilary- Yeah, hubby keeps telling me "we're in the real army now". I liked the fake one just fine. @melanie- Thank you. I'm sure it will all start looking up. I've got faith! @alyson- I miss you! Next time I'm in TN for any length of time, I'd love to see ya. @sarah- It probably was Drifter...hehe @jenn- that's a good idea. I've looked on the military message boards I'm a part of! @jessica- Thanks :)
Have you talked to your husband about getting decals put on your car? He should be able to get them as he's working on In-processing. Benning is pretty strict about it. Drum wasn't that bad, but it helped. I think because it's a bigger post they are more strict. I remember having to get guest passes for a while because it took us a few weeks for me to get in and get a mil ID card. Hilary gave me your blog address.
Yeah, that's what we're going to have to do. I've already put it on J's to do list. Thanks for the suggestion and I'm glad you stopped by my blog. Hilary is too sweet!
:( I would have been in tears just for taking the wrong turn. I am emotional like that. I can't imagine staying composed going through what you were going through, especially pregnant. My husband just deployed again, and a few minutes before he pulled off, my vehicle started acting up...that's usually the way it works around here...Any way, I see that you at least got to get to the doctor after all that, and that's good...I know it's not as good as you wanted it to be, but it wil be. You've got a lot of people pulling for you. :)
