When you were younger, wasn't it just the coolest thing in the world to drag out all the blankets, cushions, and pillows you could find and begin stuffing them into drawers, draping them over chairs, and building your own little hiatus from the rest of the world? Well, I still recommend it.

Is it just me or does Baby K (Toddler K?) look so much like your husband in that last picture??? Forts are so fun. You're such a good mom. I have not yet built a fort for Sam yet. I did throw a comforter over his head while I was making the bed today though. That seemed to thoroughly freak him out so maybe we have a little ways to go before forts look desirable to him.
I loved making forts when I was a kid! We would pull all the blankets out and make one that took up the whole living room :) I've done it with my kids a few times too and they love it! I think it may be time for another one soon :) Looks like you all had a blast!
Ah! Yes. Ava and Eli love it when we bust out the blankets for forts. Whoever came up with this idea was a genius. :)
