Mondays are good for blog hops, aren't they? I recorded this vlog for (Mil)ing It Over at Chances I'm Taking, but I thought it would be applicable for Military Monday, as well. Spouses, I would love to hear what you all have to say about your career struggles and triumphs! Please head over to Jenn's page to link up your experiences there. And also, if you're feelin' frisky- head to Candace's page to link up any recent military related post there. Have a great day!

Congrats on your decision! Hope everything works out the way you'd like. Sounds like a "portable profession" to me!
I'm excited for you, Kace! Sorry it's been awhile, but I haven't felt much like being "connected" lately. I try to at least keep up with you & J, but - alas! - I haven't even done that. How's the baby? Laura said you were feeling huge but that you looked so tiny. That's normal. I loved being pregnant. I mean REALLY loved it. The wonder and amazement of life growing, a little person in there... it really blew me away. I hope you are enjoying this pregnancy, even through the physical blows to your system. What are you reading now? About pregnancy & childbirth, that is. Read everything! Do you have any requests for after the birth? I can start shopping now... whatever you want, there's so much out there. I'm already starting a list for books for baby: Pat the Bunny, DK board books, Goodnight Moon... just to name a few. Well, I've rambled on enough for now. I haven't talked to your mom in some time, but I know she's excited too. Take care, all three of you. Love you so much!
Kim
I love your blogs, Kacy! Keeps us "connected" while you're away from E. TN. There's no doubt in my mind you'll do great with the Master's program. Maybe then a Dr? I see the 'Dr. Kacy" TV show in the future, a series of books, a lecture tour, ...
Thank you for stopping by That Army Wife Life. It's kind of nostalgic reading your posts. Two years ago, we came down on orders for the Career Course 3 days after I found out I was pregnant. So I moved 8 weeks pregnant and then again 7 1/2 months pregnant. (And my little guy was born 4 weeks early so we cut it a little close!) The hormones and having so much to think about with the pregnancy adds a whole new dimension to PCSing.
I know you'll do great with that career choice. I think if you do something you don't have a passion for you are likely to be miserable in it and nobody wants to go to a job they hate. Don't be nervous about school and baby. Take your time with classes and remember not to bite off more then you can chew. I might not have children but I was nannying 24/7 for the girls and doing my undergrad full time. Not having to physically be in class will help a lot. Just make sure you schedule you time within all of that so you don't go crazy. If you need anything let me know.
